Last Call

We're out of here. Not yet, but soon. Packing up and moving north. Now, if it were up to me, I'd just take off without any fuss. Gone by daylight, the only evidence of my passage the unmistakable sting of Sex Panther on the air (60% of the time it works every time) and a single, mysterious word carved into the bark of a long dead oak: CROATOAN. That would be cool.

But it's not up to me, so there are plans and lists and most likely pictures at some point. Hence this blog. The Truth has given us a list of tasks to complete before we leave and by God I intend to complete them all or fail to complete some of them but at least get to most of them, or at the very least do the really cool ones.

So this blog is here to serve as a record of our attempt and of our last days as Houstonians. Hopefully it won't suck.

HURRY UP PLEASE IT'S TIME

"Houston: It Was Worth It"? That's like saying "AC/DC: I'm Glad They Made Music" or "Cancer: It Really Stinks." Maybe let's come up with a less my-stay-here-was-mediocre label... like TEX-IGAN TWO STEP or OH SNAP, WE'RE NOT REALLY MOVING or HOUSTON MEANS THAT I'M ONE DAY CLOSER TO YOU or THERE'S NO FAJITAS IN ANN ARBOR.

Yeah, I got nothin'.
